blender-data software package provides Very fast and versatile 3D modeller/renderer - data package, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install blender-data
blender-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the blender-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep blender-data *
You will get with blender-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
